In Cambodia, large international breweries and local businessmen are fighting to win the war for the growing beer market. Through corruption, aggressive advertising, young beer girls and of cash prizes and growth, the poor population is incised to drink more and more alcohol in a highly corrupt country. We follow activist Kim Eng who is going up against the beer industry while fighting an uneven battle to introduce a national alcohol law. And we follow ordinary Cambodians who, as beer sellers, singers, and beer girls, dream that the beer industry could be their ticket to a different and better life. PRESS PHOTOS
